About Us

Both raised in Cleveland, Matt and Jen Jacobs feel deeply connected to NE Ohio and the diverse communities found not only in the City of Cleveland but its surrounding suburbs. Matt and Jen decided to start a family together. As COVID-19 restrictions were being lifted, they were miraculously gifted a beautiful baby boy. This baby boy is the epitome of the melting pot of America. Matt is a first generation American born to South African immigrants while Jen was born in China and at 4 months old was adopted and raised by a loving American couple. 

As business began to grow, so did the Jacobs' family. Matt and Jen have welcomed their second child, a baby girl while Jen is battling breast cancer. Despite Jen's Breast Cancer diagnosis and being parents to a toddler and a newborn, they continue to work hard to meet the needs of their clients, the City of Cleveland and The City of Cleveland Heights. 

The work that Matt performs out on the field is not to just get properties certified, but to also protect those living in the property, especially young children. Matt and Jen feel like they have a personal stake in their performing their part in combating lead poisoning. Childhood lead poisoning can cause defects in learning and behavioral development in infants and children. Being parents, Matt and Jen clearly understand the core value and importance of living in a Lead Free environment.
